Shokoku

Often considered the ancestor to the various Japanese longtails (and descended from an unknown Chinese fowl), this breed only occurs in Black-breasted Silver and White, although the Whites are fairly uncommon. Totally red faces and yellow legs are required, which differentiates these fowl from Phoenix, with their white earlobes and bluish legs.

The main sickles must be at least 90 cm (33 in) in length and the coverts and saddle feathers should drag on the ground.
