October 12/13
Chicago - Vienna
Depart from Chicago on October 12th for an evening flight to Vienna. Arrive on Oct. 13th at the airport in Vienna where you will be met by your tour manager, Turid. After customs formalities you will be taken by motor coach to the HOTEL FAVORITA. Enjoy your afternoon at leisure to explore or relax. You will meet again this evening for a Welcome Dinner at a restaurant near the hotel.

October 14
Vienna
After breakfast at the hotel, take a City tour of Vienna, with a local guide. The tour includes a visit to St Stefan’s Dome, you will also pass the Hofburg, Parliament and State Opera, enjoy a drive on the Ringstrasse and pass may magnificent buildings and other major sights. The last stop of the tour will be the SchÜnbrunn Palace. This evening you will enjoy "the Grinzing" the most famous of all Heurigen villages, feast on local food, and enjoy wine and music.

October 15
Vienna
This morning visit the Spanish Riding School and see impressive Lipizzaner Horse Show. Following the show you will leave Vienna for a drive to the countryside to visit some Austrian Breeders. The afternoon is at leisure and dinner will be at the hotel.

October 16
Vienna - Prague
After breakfast at the hotel you leave Vienna behind and cross the border into Slovakia. There will be a short stop in Bratislava, Slovakia, before continuing to the Czech Republic. If possible there will be a visit to a breeder in Slovakia. Arrival in Prague in the late afternoon. Enjoy dinner at a nearby local restaurant. HOTEL ARBES

Prague
Tuesday
There will be a morning sightseeing tour of Prague with a local guide. See the famous Prague Castle, the Charles Bridge, the Jewish Quarter and the Jewish Cemetery. This afternoon, you are on your own to enjoy this lovely city. Soak up the local atmosphere by strolling through town, shop for puppets or garnets or perhaps you'll consider stopping in a bar for a local Czech beer. (The first beer was brewed in the Czech Republic). Dinner at a Folklore Restaurant with music.

October 18
Prague
Enjoy breakfast before you depart on a visit to some Czech poultry breeders. Stop for lunch at a local inn and on the way back to Prague visit a Czech Glass factory, where you will have an opportunity to buy some beautiful Bohemian Crystal.

October 19
Prague - Thüringer Region
Today you will be heading for the German border. There will be a lunch stop in the town of Bayreuth, known for the Wagner Music Festivals and Concert Hall. This afternoon stop in the little village of Viernau where you visit the Thüringer Poultry Museum. Overnight in the charming little Thüringer town of Bad Liebenstein. Enjoy dinner at the hotel. October 20
Thüringer Region - Hannover
After breakfast at the hotel, we drive along charming countryside roads to Göttingen. Then we join Germany's fast highway the "Autobahn" where there is no speed limit, (except for your motor coach!) and arrive in the late afternoon in Hannover. Your centrally located hotel awaits you with dinner. MARITIM GRAND HOTEL.

October 21
Hannover
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the Hannover Fairgrounds to visit the Poultry Show. Return transfer in the afternoon. For those choosing not to attend the show enjoy a full day at leisure to go shopping, visit museums or explore the city. Dinner at the Hotel

October 22
Hannover - Kiel
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the Poultry Show. Around noon you drive north to Kiel, to see Knut Röder's Japanese Long Tail Onagadori. Overnight and Farewell dinner at MARITIM HOTEL BELLEVUE.

October 23
Home
Breakfast at the hotel before you transfer to the airport, and wave "Aufwiedersehen" to your new friends.

Poultry Fanciers Tour of Europe
TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Cancellations: In addition to airline, hotel and tour cancellation penalties, all cancellations will be subject to a $200.00 per person cancellation fee. Cancellation between June 14, 2006 and August 03, 2006 will result in an additional forfeiture of $300. Cancellation between August 03 and August 28, 2006 will result in a forfeiture of $600.00 per person. Cancellation after August 29, 2006, will result in forfeiture of the entire cost of the trip. In addition to the above costs, any applicable airline fees and administrative fees will be assessed at the time of cancellation. Your Lufthansa Airline ticket is subject to penalties and restrictions. Purchase of trip cancellation insurance is recommended and available through Brookfield Travel. In the event of a cancellation where a refund is due, please allow two months for processing the refund.

Airline travel: All special requests that you receive for seating arrangements (noted on your reservation form) are forwarded to the airline. We cannot guarantee or be responsible in the event that your request is not honored by the airline.

Should you wish to deviate from the tour by extending your departure or return dates, there may be an airline service charge plus the additional cost of the change in air fare. Mileage flown will be credited to your frequent flyer account after your number is entered into the airline's computer system. It is solely your responsibility to save the passenger copy of the airline ticket as well as your boarding passes until you receive mileage credit.

Responsibility: Brookfield Travel acts as an independent contractor and arranges travel related services, and does not in any manner directly provide accommodations, transportation, meals or other travel related services. Brookfield Travel shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury to person or property, any delayed departures, missed carrier connections, substitutions of accommodations or of common carrier equipment, substitution of accommodations, or of common carrier equipment, termination of service, changes in fares or for cancellation of reservations which are beyond its control and without notice. Brookfield Travel reserves the right to alter the itinerary as may be necessary with or without notice.

A $600 per person deposit by December 20th must accompany this reservation to guarantee your spot on the tour. Deposits are payable by check only and should be made payable to Brookfield Travel.

Final payment is due by August 3, 2006.

IMPORTANT: Rates of this tour are based on currency exchange rates effective December, 1, 2005. These rates are subject to change until final payment is received.

A minimum of 15 participants is required for this tour to operate.
