This beautiful goose breeds arcross the North American Arctic and into Siberia. It exists in 2 phases, White and Blue. The Blue form is more common in eastern populations but can be found in the west, also. When the forms overlap the Blue seems to be dominant.
A normal clutch consists of 6-8 eggs and incubation lasts 22-25 days.
