Lyonnaise

This fowl is from the Lyons region of France. It is a medium-sized bird, similar to a Hamburg, and is bred for its excellent meat (cocks weigh 2.5 kg, hens 1.5 kg). It is found in Black and has frizzled plumage normally. There is said to be a bantam form, also.
