The Orust is a breed from the west coast of Sweden, where it was developed among the fishing communities. The birds pick up some of their food ranging along the sea coast.
They are always black and white (occasionally with a few red and yellow feathers on the neck, especially on males), and weigh around 5 pounds (2 kilos).
