Breeds
This Belgian bantam was frequently kept onboard freight ships on the River Schelde. From this it received its local name, the Captain's Little Chicken.
They are found only in a Mille Fleur type pattern, but it is important that the markings are irregular and differ in all individuals. Some pencilling may appear on the hens' plumage.
They are good layers and good mothers.
