Developed in Wales, in the 1930s, the Brecon Buff was the first buff breed to be standardized. It is a medium-sized goose with pink legs, feet and bill and brown eyes. Ganders weigh in at 16-20 lb (7-9 kg) and geese at 14-18 lb (6-8 kg). It should be a deep shade of buff throught, with markings similar to those of the Toulouse.
