A French variety of turkey, developed (by Le Club de la Limousine) in the Limoges area of France for the use of its feathers in fly-tying. This race was developed using the Ronquière, Red turkeys from the Ardennes and Blue turkeys from Sweden.
The Porcelain Turkey is a tricolored bird (blue, white and red). Its eyes are black.
Males weigh 7.5 kg (18 lb) and females 4-5 kg (10-12.5 lb). It is an excellent table bird.
