Dwarf Cosmos, my favorite in the garden in 1995. Their colors were incredibly rich.

And here's the 1997 Dwarf Cosmos, with a stand of Tangerine Gem Marigolds left rear. This photo doesn't really do them justice: the Dwarf Cosmos should be rustier and the Gems a bright light orange!

My favorites in 1998 were these large hibiscus.

The four-foot-tall orange and yellow marigolds were pretty neat, too.
