Rouen Clair Ducks

The Rouen (pronounced roan) Clair duck is a farmyard utility breed from France. It shows pretty much the same color pattern as the wild Mallard and the Rouen Duck, but the colors are much paler. The white collar almost circles the neck of the drake and the stern area must be white.

Rouen Clairs are somewhat smaller and carry themselves more upright than Rouens. They also lack much of a keel. Typically, they weigh between 6.5 and 9 lb (2.9-4.1 kg).
